2015 the year of the Sheep or the goat.

1.    Today starts the Chinese New year celebrations from the 19th of February 2015.

2015 year of the goat or also named the sheep or the ram. As in Chinese the same word is used for those animals: Yáng.

The Goat comes 8th in the Chinese zodiac. The 12 zodiac animals are: Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Goat, Monkey, Rooster, Dog, and Pig. 

According to Chinese astrology, each year (starting from Chinese New Year) is associated with an animal sign, occurring in a 12-year cycle. For example 2015 is a year of the Goat.

IN 2015 the corresponding element is Wood; this energy blends with the corresponding animal that determines that year´s fortune.

Wood is the element associated with all living things, it refers to the Spring or life renewal process.

It relates to Tree which is associated to the color Green that is the reason why this year is called as well the Year of the green Sheep or Goat.

3. What does the mix of the two together?

The sheep is kind, tender and sympatric as well as quite stubborn; they are also creative and elegant. Because of the softer side, they are symbolic of peace and Harmony

2014 was the year of the Horse foreseen as tumultuous … in the light of all the world events I would agree… Therefore a calmer year is on its way under serenity and peacefull atmosphere quite good for diplomacy and negotiation.

Combined with the evergreen and renewal characteristics of Wood, the sheep´s creativity will be unleashed. As I am always trying to be optimistic … green is the color of hope, luck, renewal, spring, we should find some inner strength even in our darkest moment … breath

This year sign vibration will push us to appreciate to contemplate what we will have accomplished so far, we will open up ourselves to others . As we may feel calmer, the idea of bringing to others goodness will arise. We will be able to look ahead calmly.

We will give steady path, generosity is in the air and keeping the peace and harmony are this year´s mantra.
